S.S.M College of Engineering is a pioneer engineering institute which was established in the year 1998 with the aim of providing world class education in the fields of science, technology and engineering and thus aiding to the socio economic development of the nation in turn. This institution aims at equipping technical professionals with the right kind of professional know how to foster the development of the youth of today. Founded by S.S.M. Subramaniam, this organization holds a special and a very dignified position in the educational sphere of Tamil Nadu where this college is situated. SSM College of Engineering in its effort to foster all round development for its students offers industrial training and participation opportunities to many workshops and conferences.
