ABOUT St. Vrain Historical Society, SVHS

The St. Vrain Historical Society, Inc. also known as SVHS supports historic education and preservation in Longmont and the adjacent St. Vrain Valley. The society is located at Longmont, USA. They became a non-profit, tax-free corporation in 1963. Some of the events hosted by them are Group Tours of Old Mill Park, Holiday Public Tours of Hover home, etc. They also sponsor two antique shows as their major fund-raisers to help funding historic education and preservation projects in the society. These two shows are Strawberry Festival Antique Show and Pumpkin Pie Days Antique Show. Other SVHS programs include Pioneer Days, Historical Re-Enactments / Presentations, Self Guided Walking Tours etc. A fifteen member Board of Directors manage the activities of the society, and the programmes are executed by a part-time staff and active member volunteers. Mary Pearson is the office manager for the society.
