State Fair of West Virginia is a highly renowned annual fair of United States of America. This fair is located in the Lewisburg, West Virginia, USA. The history of this fair can be traced back to the year 1854 when the Greenbrier Agricultural Society started organizing and conducting an agriculture fair that was held once in a year. However it was not until the year 1881, that a State Fair took place in Wheeling. This organization is a not for profit association that is also self sustaining in nature. Livestock show, The State Fair Horse Show as well as Home Arts and Garden are some of the many events that are organized by this association. The aim of this fair is to promote agriculture and knowledge as well as provide amusements and enjoyment.
