ABOUT Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv

Kyiv National University is an institution of higher education that trains specialists in many fields of knowledge and carries out researches. It consists of more faculties and departments than any other University in Ukraine and provides training of specialists in a greater number of fields than any other comparable Ukrainian educational institution. The Taras Shevchenko Kyiv National University is a world wide known establishment of higher education. Today, the Kyiv Taras Shevchenko National University is a multidisciplinary educational and scientific complex, which comprises 14 faculties, 5 institutes. It employs more than 2000 of academic and about 1000 scientific staff at 158 departments. The University is also the co-founder of three institutes and two colleges, where over 30 thousand of students study.
