ABOUT The Aquatic Birds Working Group of the International Society of Limnology

An apex organization based in Canada that deals with aquatic birds, the Aquatic Birds Working Group of the International Society of Limnology, was incepted in the year 1992, with the sole purpose to study the water birds from a limnological point of view and represent the International Society of Limnology in the international dome. Under the effective leadership of their Chairperson Dr. Joseph J. Kerekes, this organization aims to amalgamate hydrobiology with water birds and promote the study of water birds among limnologists and ornithologists as a subject of limnology.
