ABOUT The Liskeard Steam & Vintage Club Limited

Liskeard Steam and Vintage Club Ltd. were formed in 1982, previously known as the Cornish Traction Preservation Society is situated in Cornwall in UK. The club is famous for organizing many successful rallies. They aim at preserving the heritage of the steam engines and vintage cars. Their mission is to retain the memories of these traditional means of communication in the memories of everyone and also to increase the interest of the younger generation about these prized possessions. The shows organized by them have as exhibits both original and replicas of old steam engines, cars, tractors, motorbikes, bicycles and what not. They also arrange for pleasure rides in helicopters and free tractor rides. Mr. Stuart Ellway is the Chairman of this organization, which is more famous for organizing The Boconnoc Steam Fair which is an annual event of great repute.
