Transport En Logistiek Vlaanderen, Royal Professional Association of Freight Flemish Region and Brussels Capital Region founded in 1933 in 77 years has grown into a nationally recognized professional association representing all mandates in regional, national and international bodies, the secretariat is located in Ghent and has 18 employees.

Transport Research Institute, The Transport Research Institute (TRI) at Edinburgh Napier University was established in 1996. Since its inauguration, it has developed an enviable track record in delivering high quality transport research, consultancy and other knowledge transfer projects within an applied setting.
