ABOUT Tuckerton Seaport

Founded in 2000, Tuckerton Seaport is a non-profit multifaceted organization devoted to research and showcase maritime history, heritage, and environment of Jersey shore and the contributions of their baymen. The organization arranges maritime events, entertaining programs, and educational events around the year for the well-being and entertainment of community and surroundings. Red Wine and Blue Festival, Blue grass and Barbeque Festival, Bayman's Seafood and Music Festival are all popular events organized by this forum. The President of this forum is Mr. Joseph Martin. The organization aims in future to build a nationally reputed educational and knowledge center showcasing rich maritime history and folk-life of New Jersey area. The organization maintains their gift shop on the nearby Tuckerton Yacht Club. The museum displays baymen's tool and photographs and is the venue for events and shows hosted by this cultural organization.
