ABOUT University For Development Studies UDS

Established in May 1992, University for Development Studies (UDS) aims to solve out the problems related to environmental sector. In today’s scenario University is working over four satellite campuses spread out in the three Northern Regions of Ghana. The University is comprised of Masters Programmes in the Social Sciences and Sciences and doctorate degree programmes. The main goal of University is to explore the causes of poverty and tries to find out the solution on poverty reduction. It organizes conference each year with the main focus on the research topics in the teaching environmental technology and related topics. The students who are highly capable for education, University provides an opportunity of higher education for those students.
