This university was founded in the year 2006 and it has two campuses located in Mannheim and Schwerin. Since 2006 it has offered two degrees in both of its campuses; the courses offered are- Bachelor of Arts in Labor Market Management and Bachelor of Arts in Career Guidance and Case Management (only in Mannheim). Apart from these degrees the university also offers internationally recognized academic degrees and an academic structure based on the current European standards. Every year approximately 300 students are admitted in the university out of which about 240 students take up Labor Market Management and the rest 60 join the Career Guidance Program and it takes three years to complete these degrees. Its chief financer is the Federal Employment Agency and in the year 2006 the university got an approval from the German Science Council because of its favorable academic model.
