ABOUT UST Office For Alumni Relations

A premier body of the 400 years old University of Santo Tomas (UST), the Office For Alumni Relations, also abbreviated as OAR, is a center that was set up in the year 1929 with a view to look after the welfare and interests of the university alumni and ex-students. The main-office of the Philippines-based USTOAR is located in Manila and the operation of this center runs under the leadership of its Director Mr. Michael Angelo E. Malic SI. This center organizes a wide variety of events related to the alumni activities as well as other university events. However, it also organizes a popular trade event known as 'Thomasian Global Trade Expo (TGTE)' in association with the Thomasian Leaders Alumni Association, Inc (TALA). This event deals with enterprises in a host of areas including manufacturing, food and beverage, tourism, health care and pharmaceutical etc.
