ABOUT Vermont Captive Insurance Association

The Vermont Captive Insurance Association is the largest trade association for captive insurance in the world. Established in 1985, the Association has grown to provide lobbying support on both the state and federal levels for its nearly 500 member companies. In addition, it hosts and supports professional education opportunities for the industry at large. VCIA provides top notch professional education to both members of the Association and industry participants outside the Association. Our educational seminars feature topics relevant to today%u2019s most pressing issues, and are taught by captive experts at the forefront of the industry. Seminars are held throughout the year in Burlington and are also available via audio-conference. VCIA also takes great pride in its founding role with the International Center for Captive Insurance Education.
