ABOUT VESTEX

With the establishment of a dedicated division of the garment and textile industry in 1996, the Guatemala Apparel & Textile Industry Commission popularly known as (VESTEX) started playing an active role in promoting and developing the apparel and textile industry. VESTEX is also a part of the Guatemalan Exporters' Association (AGEXPRONT) which promotes growth in exports to help in the economic and social development of Guatemala. VESTEX has a very strategic and professional approach in the execution of its plans as it has separate divisions to take care of government relations, training and technical assistance, labor committees, investments and market access divisions. With the sole aim of supporting the companies in the field of textiles, VESTEX organizes fairs like the ITMA and APSS which provides an effective platform to industries to network and explore business opportunities in the global market.
