The Vietnam Automobile Manufacturers? Association (VAMA) is a non-profit organization founded in 2000, started with 11 members and today VAMA has 17 members who have been making their restless efforts and contributions to the development of the national economy in overall, as well as the national automobile industry in particular. Through the years since the Association?s initiation, VAMA members have achieved remarkable progress and proved themselves as the leading contributors to the national economy with over 1.3 billion USD of tax payment and over 65,000 direct and indirect jobs by the end of 2007.
