In the year 1977, this organization was incepted by an assemblage of 17 distribution professionals. The need of a warehousing organization had first manifested itself in the minds of Mr. Bob Angel and Mr. Ken Ackerman, who are also known as the fathers of WERC. Currently, Mr. Lawrence Dean Shemesh is the President of this company that is headquartered at Oak Brook, Illinois, USA. The WERC Conference and Trade Show is the flagship event of this company.
