Wellhausen & Marquardt Mediengesellschaft is a German media house founded by Tom Wellhausen and Sebastian Marquardt. The idea was conceived by the founders in the year 1998. At the end of 1999, Marquardt initiated the project while working as a freelance journalist and by the beginning of 2000 Wellhausen also fully focused into this as was planned. Finally in 2008, the company moved to its head office in Hamburg-Uhlenhorst. The primary aim of this organization was to occupy a niche in the magazine. The publisher gradually acquired the Dragon Sport and Dolls and Teddy Bear segment. It also acts as media service provider for editorial, advertising and marketing purposes. For the first time Wellhausen & Marquardt Mediengesellschaft is organizing the Teddy Bear Fair TEDDYBAR TOTAL in Germany in 2012 .
