ABOUT Wines of South Africa

Taking shape in the year 1999, Wines of South Africa, also known by its abbreviated form, WOSA, is widely known as a South Africa based nonprofit trade organization that plays a key role in promoting sale and export of South African wines to capture the global markets including UK, US, Canada, Germany, Sweden and the Netherlands. Representing more than 500 exporters from the wine industry sector, this organization is headquartered in Stellenbosch. Approved by the government as an Export Council, this organization is currently being run by its Chairman, Mr. Johann Krige and its Chief Executive Officer, Su Birch. Aptly reflecting the spirit of this organization is its bi annual trade flagship show and exhibition, the Cape Wine trade exhibition.
