Today Yad Vashem is a dynamic and essential place of intergenerational and international encounter which was established in 1953. Yad Vashem is entrusted by the Jewish People as it is the world center of Holocaust memory and education. Yad Vashem places an important role on educating the younger generations about the Holocaust.
