Voice of Exhibitors and Visitors
PHOTONIX this year provided us substantial business opportunities and great outcome. More visitors came to our booth than expected, and we are estimating at least 10 negotiations will be completed soon. Though we were wavering on exhibiting at the show until the last minute, now we are happy to have taken part in it.

LG Display was invited as a Keynote speaker, but we were about to cancel our visit to Japan. We were stunned to see more than 1,000 audiences at the conference, including those from Japan, Korea, Taiwan and China. We hardly felt the aftermath of the earthquake.
LG Display (Korea) Visitor of FINETECH JAPAN
The vice president of our company spoke at the technical conference, and I visited the venue with many of my colleagues. The exhibition and conference were packed with industry professionals. I was pleased to have talked with Japan and overseas exhibitors.
Samsung (Korea) Visitor of FINETECH JAPAN
Although we doubted FINETECH JAPAN would be held normally facing so many. We visited the exhibitions since we also wanted to support Japan and our vendors, and I was amazed to see so many exhibitors and visitors. We were able to discuss with major companies, and we would definitely visit again next year.

Visitor Comments
I never miss this exhibition since it is a very important venue for purchasing. When I was worried about the radiation exposure, Show Management gave me detailed explanation that there was no influence of radiation. In fact, I visited Japan and found the city and the exhibition as vigorous as before. I met more suppliers than last time, talking about business of tens of millions of yen. I again realized the exhibition was an essential chance to purchase the latest "Made in Japan" products.
Paris Jewelry (Taiwan)
As a jewelry retailer with 100 stores in China, we visited Japan and IJK for the first time. We were informed by Chinese major media, and registered ourselves as Special Guests. The media told us to believe the organiser and Japan's safety, relieving us before visiting Japan. We were pleased to find IJK populous and flourishing, and purchased around four million yen, thanks to "Matching Tour" provided by the organizer for free. We have already applied to visit again next year.
Shan Dong Jin Ye Jewelry (China)
I was worried about the influence of the earthquake, but the exhibitors were well prepared for foreign buyers and I purchased worth products at reasonable prices. Now I am glad I went to the show.

Exhibitors Comment
We thought about cancelling when our staff left Japan after the quake. However, we decided to participate in the show because it is the best way to expand our business with a few members. I talked to many visitors, and I am now convinced it was right that we joined the show.

Global Connection (Korea)
We had lots of visitors both at our booth and PR seminar, pleased with the great outcome, as well as the achievement in highlighting a Polish IT company. We are determined to join again next time.

I was worried there might have been fewer visitors this year, but that concern proved unfounded. The exhibition has proved the Japan economy never stops growing.
