Marmomacc Will Attend Saudi Stone-Tech 2011
2011 sees the continuation of important collaboration between VeronaFiere Confindustria Marmomacchine and Riyadh Exhibition Company for the organisation of Saudi Stone–Tech 2011 scheduled 16-19 October 2011 alongside Saudi Build in the modern Riyadh exhibition centre. More than 18,000 visitors in total attended the last edition of Saudi Build + Saudi Stone Tech that in turn attracted about 900 exhibitors, over 100 of which for Saudi Stone Tech, from 35 countries in a total exhibition area of 15,000 square meter. The Saudi building sector is growing every year at a rate of 7%, on the strength of important government investments totalling 400 billion dollars envisaged over the next 5 years and more than 720 active projects under construction. As regards the natural stone sector, the period January/June 2010 saw Saudi Arabia take 6th place in the ranking of top importers of Italian stone industry technology worth almost 15 million Euros - an impressive +14.85% compared to the same period in 2009. This collaboration, in any case, seeks to create synergies to support companies in stone industry and technology fields and promote penetration into emerging and expanding markets.
