Asha-Seattle is a chapter of Asha for Education, a non-profit voluntary organization dedicated to socio-economic change in India mainly using the medium of education. Their goal is to also address, whenever possible, other developments and human issues such as women's issues, health-care and related issues.

CHEBAGOGO FOUNDATION
CHEBAGOGO FOUNDATION was founded in 2006 by Nelly Some, a Kenyan emigrant from the village of Moi's Bridge. Raised by her poor, elderly grandmother, Nelly experienced the hardship of Kenyan village life as a child. Were it not for her grandmother, Nelly herself may have been an orphan. Seeing the affect of AIDS all around her, Nelly identified with the AIDS orphans.

Girls On The Run
Girls on the Run of Puget Sound is a non-profit organization whose mission is to inspire girls to be joyful, healthy and confident using a fun experience-based curriculum which creatively integrates running. Since 2002, GOTRPS has operated an after-school prevention program for 3rd through 5th grade girls throughout Puget Sound.

International Rescue Committee
The International Rescue Committee responds to the world’s worst humanitarian crises and helps people to survive and rebuild their lives. Founded in 1933 at the request of Albert Einstein, the IRC offers lifesaving care and life-changing assistance to refugees forced to flee from war or disaster.
