Overview
The capital Valencia Province, a Spanish autonomous community, the city of Valencia is the third largest city of Spain. Located on commercial Costa del Azahar on Mediterranean Sea, the city is a charming old city that is well worth a visit.

Valencia is renowned for its 5 day Fallas festival in March known as Las Fallas (the fires), for being the birthplace of Spanish dish ‘paella’ and the Holy Grail. The city is also famous for hosting the 2007 America’s Cup and its massive architectural project by Santiago Calatrava called The City of Arts and Sciences.

Valencia is one of the prettiest historic territories of Spain with several ancient architectural sites. The city is an area of old Roman settlements and groves of orange trees, fringed by the deep blue waters of the Mediterranean. While its museums and cathedrals rate best among the rest in the region.

But this is just one side of the coin as the other part of Valencia is a sordid example of modern urbanization at its best. Further its oranges & lemons, wines & seafood and its beach resorts along with tiny villages make the city more tempting.

Being one of the busiest ports of Europe, Valencia is more of a business destination than tourist. While its Feria Valencia, conducting many trade fairs and expos, attracts much of the international business seekers.
