Major Business Centers
Taipei World Trade Center (TWTC):
The foremost trade promotion organization of Taiwan and managed by China External Trade Development Council (CETRA), TWTC serves as a model for global trade centers. It’s an integrated business complex comprising of four separate structures namely, The Exhibition Hall, International Convention Center, International Trade Building and Grand Hyatt.

The Exhibition Hall:
It’s a perfect forum for both short and long-term product displays. Comprising of seven floors, the hall house most extensive product assortment under one roof in Asia. It hosts around 20 international trade shows every year.

Taipei International Convention Center (TICC):
Handling a gathering space of up to 10,000 people, TICC laps 12 soundproofed meeting rooms (with seating for 3,100), two auditoriums, a banquet hall and two restaurants.

International Trade Building:
Having 34 floors, International Trade Building posses several CETRA’s offices, trade-related services and organizations.

All these centers are suitably designed to accommodate the needs of the international business community and serves as a major venue for almost all trade fairs and exhibitions of the city.

Major Commercial Hubs
Xin Yi (Hsinyi):
Mainly commercial district, Xin Yi images a new era of the city's development. The place acquires some of the most popular landmarks of taipei like, Taipei World Trade Center, Taipei City Hall, Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall, New York department stores and a new Warner Village movie complex.

Located in the east, Hsinyi area is also an important cultural and administrative center.

Song Shan (Sungshan):
Headquartering numerous company offices and foreign restaurants, Sungshan is one of the city's most international districts. With Sungshan Domestic Airport also lying in vicinity, the area is justly called as home to Taipei's central business district.

Neihu:
Home to Taiwan’s first Hi-tech Technology Park, Neihu is leading Taipei into a new industrial era. Though prone to frequent floods, the district has experienced huge growth over the years and has become famous for its IT industry and large shopping complexes like CostCo and RT-Mart.

Located towards north of Taipei, the district also posses many mountains that are ideal and popular for hiking. Besides being a mountainous region, Neihu can be easily accessed through many buses.

Major Manufacturing Zones
Nankang Software Park:
Formed with the collaboration of government and private sector, Nankang Software Park mainly focuses on Software Development, IC (integrated circuit) Design and Biotechnology.

Located in eastern Taipei, this state-of-the-art science park is dedicated to the development of knowledge-intensive industries and also accommodates R&D needs.
