| “Yes there is a need for shows like this - I enjoy seeing the talks and the Galapogos is now next on my dream list! You''re always going to get stall holders who are poorer than others at these events but overall we have a good day out. We decide which companies we want to deal with and which we don''t at Destinations- if they can''t be bothered to talk to us at the show and haven''t bothered to bring experts with them then we book our holidays with someone else who has. I''d miss it if it wasn''t there as I''d be back to the risks of getting ripped off on the internet or the bored high street travel agents who can''t be bothered with anything out of the ordinary.” | |

| “Destinations in Earls Court to me was totally uninspiring I had hoped to come home full of ideas and excitement for places to visit Hardly any of the stands had video, most of the stand holders didn?t speak to me, but quickly moved me on with a brochure, some even suggested I didn?t take a brochure, but just a card, so I could look it up online I could have stayed at home and looked all the info up online frankly I am very pleased I didn?t pay for my ticket, at ?12 I would have felt ripped off I went with a very clear goal to find out about trips to China, only one stand took the time to talk to me about the trip and gave me guidance on the type of trip I was after Most stands however, were too busy signing people up to their competitions, and lost sight of their real costumers Again, this was done with the aim of collecting as many addresses as they could so they could bombard them with emails later Is there a real need for a fair like this ?
