| I Want My $12 Bucks Back! There was an hour-long line to get in-- even with online pre-registration-- that led only to a computer to create a badge. After a good 15 minutes, 3 guys waited (at a table) for the names to come out of the computer-- some did, many didn''t. My immediate reaction, upon finally entering, was that I''ve seen better job fairs. There were no tech or equipment vendors. There were support companies (like script-writers, etc.) but not much for experienced production people. There were no reps for equipment, camera, or lighting. With preregistration, it was free; but, parking was $12, and I can''t get my Sat. morning hours back. A complete waste of time. Stay away. | |
