The Conclave commenced with a presentation by Anil Chopra, Convener of IBE which explained the philosophy and reasons for announcing the launch of IBE Expo 2007. In his presentation Anil Chopra touched the reasons on a need for an international broadcast platform in India. One of those reasons was the dissatisfaction reported to the IABM by Indian distributors with regard to the Broadcast India event.
