The Khmer New Year Expo and Festival is a major tourist magnet and attracts people from all over the world. Besides that local Cambodians can also be found in large magnitude. The Visitors at the fair include foreign travelers, local shoppers, food enthusiasts, handicraft and antique fans, restaurant owners, fast food stall owners, music lovers and cooking enthusiasts are also to be found at the fair.
The Khmer New Year Expo and Festival is not only a major trade fair but it also acts as a hub for all kinds of different festivities running parallel to the fair itself. Some of the other events organized here include • Music Concerts and cultural Performances • Fashion shows • Cooking Demonstration • Beauty Contest.
As the Khmer New Year Expo and Festival is organized ahead of the Khmer New Year during which Cambodians go on a shopping spree the Khmer New Year Expo and Festival hosts exhibitors, manufacturers, retailers of various goods, handicrafts stands and culinary stands, which are among other permanent fixture at the fairgrounds. Apart from that many other people also join to showcase their wares and products at the event.
