to 02-SEP-12 Chatsworth Country Fair is one of the leading country fairs of its kind in England. Frequented by a large number of attendees from all over the country, the show is unique in the exclusive countryside flavor which it carries. The displayed articles at the fair are diverse, and include attractive art items and related products. The event offers visitors the chance to see some of the most unique country activities, like ferret racing, clay pigeon shooting, archery events and sheep dog trials. Tickets for The Royal British Legion County Prize can also be obtained by visitors at the fair. Chatsworth Country Fair traditionally starts on the Friday which follows the August Bank Holiday, and lasts for the three days over the weekend. Various types of shows are held during the trade event, some of which are the hot air balloon lift, the pipe band contest, vintage car gathering and gundog team tests. One of the major highlights of the show is the Grand Ring, which has more than 300 trade stands. The event is held at the parks of Chatsworth House, and is one of the most anticipated happenings featuring in the Midlands and Derbyshire calendar.
