Airport:
The city has two airports:
- Love Field Airport is located northwest of downtown. The airport
serves all major southwest airlines.
- DFW airport is slightly larger than Love Field Airport. The DFW
airport has a very large passenger volume.
Dallas Railway Transportation:
The Amtrak serves the city through the two major routes:
- Texas Eagle between San Antonio and Chicago.
- Heartland Flyer between Fort Worth and Oklahoma City.
Local Transportation of Dallas:
Most people use buses and commuter trains to get around in the city of
Dallas. The transportation system is called DART. DART connects all major
tourist attractions and entertainment centers of the city.
The trains and buses connect Dallas to several suburban areas. Prices are
relatively cheap, especially for train travel. Free shuttles service is also
available at the airport which covers most of the city.
