The Royal Canadian Legion Branch 234 was chartered in 1932 and it later became known as the Royal City Branch. In 1976 the prestigious name of Colonel John McCrae was maintained with the name of the centre and then get populated as Colonel John McCrae Memorial Branch 234. Served by several communities, and attracts organizations for hosting there events. The infrastructure suits for several different activities, sports,youth education & bursaries,training & organizational development,veterans services.
