Built in the year 1967, Salem Civic Center is a 6820 seat multi purpose arena which is part of the James E. Taliaferro Sports and Entertainment Complex. It also includes the Salem Football Stadium and the Salem Memorial Baseball Stadium. It is used for hosting several sports and it also uses for organizing various concerts, conventions, trade shows. It is also known as one of the largest convention facility in the Roanoke Valley.
