Referred to as the horseshoe by the local residents due to its unique architectural design, the Westpac Arena Centre is one of the largest indoor sports and entertainment venues in New Zealand. Established in 1998, this multi-functional venue has been home to many high-profile international exhibitions, sporting events, artists and special dinners. Westpac Arena Centre provides seating arrangement for upto 9,000 people and has around 4,000 sq mts of floor space along with some extra additional space as well. Some of the first-class features of the Centre are its parking space for around 3,000 vehicles, on-site kitchens and catering services, modern conveniences, professional services which all add up to ensure the success of its international sporting and indoor arena events.
